Free agent 3rd basemen Troy Glaus  signs with the Atlanta Braves.The agreement was made on Wednesday.Glaus must undergo a physical exam before the deal can be completed. The physical is more than a formality because of his injury history, and is not expected to take place until after Christmas and possibly New Year’s, so no announcement is imminent.Troy has had an amazing career so far he has been to the all star game 4 times  so far in his career. Glaus on his career has hit 304 home runs,and a .497 career slugging percentage.The former 3rd basemen will make his transition to 1st base, he will hit in-between  Chipper Jones and Brian McCann. Glaus hit 27 homers and drove in 99 runs in 151 games for St. Louis in 2008, but missed most of last season after undergoing shoulder surgery in January. He returned to play 14 games for the Cardinals in September and October.Troy Glaus will be a big part to the Braves offense , watch for him to have a big season if he is able to stay healthy.
